Team Development Days
Oak Training works with organisations to develop team building skills by taking groups out of their comfort zone and challenging them to work together to complete a variety of tasks.Below is an example but training days are taylored to meet individual requirements.
Orienteering
Groups work together to complete an orienteering course. The courses have been designed to challenge groups at all levels and of all abilities.
Barrels Activity
The group have to cross an area marked of with tape using limited equipment. Task is complete when the last group member completes the task. Promotes communications and teamwork skills.
Goggles Activity
The group will be split into two teams. Each team will be blindfolded and have to collect their designated cones within a marked area. Primarily develops different communication skills.
Skis Activity
The group will be split into two team and race each other around the assault course. Twist is that five team members have to be on the skis at anyone time. Promotes communication and leadership skills.
Water Tower Activity
Group will have to work together to fill a tube of water to retrieve an object. Twist is that the tower has holes in it and they only have limited equipment to fill the tower. Develops communication and teamwork skills.
Giant Jenga
The group will be split into two teams and take it in turns to remove pieces from the Jenga tower. Team that knocks the tower over loses. Twist every piece must be removed within 30 seconds Develops skill under pressure and lateral thinking
Giant Cards
Groups split into two teams. Each team takes it in turns to identify a card that is lying face down. Each team must identify their individual cards and create a clock face to win. Develops team communication skills.
